L.E.T. (Leadership Effectiveness Training)
This workshop is designed to help you and your team create a climate of collaboration where influence and respect triumph over aggression and “just do what I tell you”. By learning and practicing the L.E.T. skills taught in this workshop, leaders, managers and supervisors can create that climate with an engaged workforce that’s truly invested in making the company a success. Kim Garrison is a certified trainer with Gordon Training International, LLC. The Gordon model is an evidenced-based international model for coaching personal and interpersonal effectiveness. The model rests on building the capacity of teams, leaders, and individuals to use active listening, I-messages, no-lose conflict resolution, problem ownership and other techniques for managing complex problems and work cultures. Leader Effectiveness Training is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP® recertification activities. Credits are provided through Gordon Training International, LLC.

For those participants who are traveling, K/Val will provide hotel suggestions.

* K/Val will invoice individuals and organizations upon registration, but space is not guaranteed until payment is received. Space will only be held with proof of a PO, but only up to 7 days prior to the start of the training. Payment must be received 7 days prior to the start of the training or space will be forfeited and the individual/organization will be invoiced for 50% of the registration fee.

Youth Mental Health First Aid
Youth Mental Health First Aid (National Council of Mental Wellbeing) teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in youth. This 6-hour training gives adults who work with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to children and adolescents (ages 6-18) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care. These trainings are offered in three different formats: virtual, blended, or in-person.

Continuous Improvement Cycles
In this 5-session workshop series individuals and teams will learn the basics of continuous improvement, central strategies to conducting continuous improvement cycles, and develop a full PDSA cycle on a real problem being faced by the program or organization in which they work.
