Thought Leadership as a Social Practice
Exploring personal development, leadership, and change through dialogue, reflection, and real-life application.
We don’t just share ideas—we make meaning of them, together via K/VAL Life Architects
Micro Book EXPLORATIONS
In a world full of information, what people are often missing is not knowledge—but meaning.
At K/VAL, thought leadership is not about broadcasting ideas. It is about creating space for reflection, dialogue, and shared understanding.
This is where ideas become personal. Where conversation leads to clarity. Where insight turns into action.
Join Kim Garrison on her Micro Book EXPLORATIONS, where she synthesizes key points from a number of transformational texts on leadership and personal development.
Micro Book EXPLORATIONS are 60 minute presentations blended with thought partnership, development, and reflection. Participants leave each Exploration with a richer understanding of the topic and themselves within it. There is no need to read the books in order to participate, but you will be supported in accessing each text during the event and after.

My Story
As an educator, researcher, leader, coach, woman, and mother, I lead with curiosity and a deep commitment to making sense of the world around me.
I bring together theory, lived experience, and human complexity to make ideas actionable—supporting others in living and leading with greater intention across the many roles they hold. With that said, I enjoy community, connection, and networking. I love bringing perspectives together to grow ideas, refine them, and see them from different angles. That is why I cannot engage in thought leadership alone, it must be paired with thought partnership. I look forward to learning from each person who joins me in discussion and reflection.
